This open stairway wall faces the Entry and Living Room. The design was worked out with the Designer on the spot and each and every piece you see is custom cut, inlaid, genuine leather. Some of the hides were applied with the rough side out - the ones with the "irregular" surface color. It is much more stunning in person than this picture is capable of showing but you can tell that this hand-crafted work is an intricate, artistic application of the paperhanger's craft.
